¼ tsp salt
2 cups sugar
8 oz sour cream
2 eggs
1 cup peeled finely chopped apple
1 Tbs vanilla
2 Tbs brown sugar
2 cups sifted cake flour
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
Beat butter until creamy, add sugar, eggs, vanilla. Combine flour, powder, salt and add to butter
mixture alternately with sour cream beginning and ending with flour
mixture. Pour half of batter into
greased and floured 12 cup bundt pan.
Combine apples, nuts, sugar and cinnamon and spoon over batter in pan
leaving a ½” border around center and outer edges. Add remaining batter. Bake at 350º for 50 to 55 minutes or until
tester comes out clean. Cool in pan 10
min.
