3 stick whipped margarine
¼ cup shortening
3 cups sugar
½ cup evaporated milk
6 eggs, one at a time
½ cup sifted flour
dash salt
1tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon
Bake at 300º in tube pan 1-1/2 hour or longer until done. Almond, rum or butter flavoring can be used
instead of lemon. For chocolate
cake: add 1/3 to ½ cup cocoa with flour
and omit lemon.
