Pizzelles

6 eggs
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine, melted
3-1/2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 Tbs anise seed

Beat eggs, adding sugar gradually.  Beat until smooth.  Add cooled melted margarine and anise.  Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture.  Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon.  Let dough sit 1 hour.  Do not refrigerate.  Makes 60.
