Banana Nut Bread

1 cup sugar
¼ cup shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup crushed bananas
2 cups Jiffy mix
1/3 cup chopped nuts

Cream sugar and shortening.  Add eggs, bananas, mix and nuts.  Stir until well mixed.  Pour into well greased and floured loaf pan.  Bank 350º for one hour.
