Cinnamon Raisin Crispies

1 cup shortening                                           
1-3/4 cup sifted flour
2 cups packed brown sugar                           
 ¾ tsp cinnamon
2 eggs                                                            
1-1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 tsp baking soda                                           
1 cup raisins
1 tsp salt
 
Cream together shortening and sugars.  Beat in eggs.  Add baking soda, salt, flour and cinnamon; mix well.  Stir in rolled oats and raisins.  Drop dough by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet.  Leave room for cookies to spread.  Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes.  Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
