Pound Cake (Janice's)

3 cups sugar                                                   
½ cup milk
2 sticks margarine                                         
½ cup Crisco
3 cups cake flour                                           
8 oz sour cream
½ tsp baking powder                                      
2 tsp vanilla
5 eggs                                                            
1 tsp almond

Cream sour cream and Crisco and set aside.  Cream sugar and margarine, add eggs one at a time and beat well.  Add part of the flour, part of the milk, alternating.  Add sour cream mix last.  Bake at 335º for 1-1/2 hour or less until done.

Chocolate Pound Cake:  To the above ingredients, add ½ tsp baking soda and 5 Tbs cocoa sifted with the flour.
