Coconut Cake (Silent Sam's)

Beat 1-1/2 cup Crisco oil, 2-1/2 cups sugar and 5 eggs.  Add 3 cups flour, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 cup milk, 2 tsp coconut extract and 1 can coconut.  Bake in tube pan at 300º for 1 hour and 25 minutes (or more).
