Pound Cake (Orange)

1-1/2 cups butter                                             
¼ tsp salt
3 cups sugar                                                     
¾ cup and 2 Tbs milk
5 eggs                                                              
¼ cup orange juice
3-1/2 cups flour                                                
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cream of tartar                                        
1 tsp almond
1-1/2 tsp baking powder                                 
2 Tbs grated orange peel
 
Bake at 325º for one hour and 25 minutes or test with toothpick or tester.
