Quick Butter Frosting

Combine 1/3 cup butter, 3 cups confectioner’s sugar, 3 Tbs milk and 1 tsp vanilla.  Beat until smooth, adding more milk if necessary.

Chocolate frosting:  Add 2 squares melted chocolate

Cherry frosting:  Substitute 1 Tbs maraschino cherry juice for 1 Tbs milk.  Stir in ¼ cup chopped cherries.
