Spaghetti Pie

6 oz spaghetti
2 tsp margarine
1/3 cup grated parmesan
2 well beaten eggs
1 pound ground chuck
½ cup chopped onion
¼ cup chopped green pepper
8 oz can chopped tomatoes
6 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp garlic salt
1 cup cottage cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 
Cook spaghetti; drain; stir in butter then parmesan and eggs.  Mold spaghetti into buttered 10” pie plate as if to make a pie crust.  Cook and brown meat, onion and green pepper until all are tender.  Stir in undrained tomatoes, paste, oregano and garlic salt and heat.  Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust then add tomato-meat mixture.  Bake uncovered at 350º for 20 minutes.  Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top and bake 5 more minutes.
