Melt ¼ cup butter in a 9” pan.
Stir in ½ cup brown sugar and 2 Tbs syrup
from a No. 2 can Dole pineapple slices.
Arrange drained slices in sugar mixture.
Pour cake batter over all (mix only enough for one layer).
Bake at 350º for 45 minutes until cake pulls
away from side of pan.
Cook 5
minutes.
Loosen edges, cover with plate
and invert.
May also use canned peaches.
