½ cup flour
2 tsp salt
¼ cup bacon drippings
1 onion, sliced
½ green pepper, chopped
1 cup boiling water
1 cup canned tomatoes
Mix flour and seasoning and pound into meat. Head drippings in a pan and brown meat on both sides. Add onion, green pepper, boiling water and tomatoes. Cover and cook over very low heat for 2 hours.
